La Thezanaise

... is a freestanding house, located in the traditional town of Thézan-lès-Béziers in the south of France.

It was originally the town's distillery and was built in 1920. Over the last four years it has undergone a complete transformation, so that today it is turned into luxurious vacation home with a marvellous atmosphere which can only be described as inspiring, with a great architectural and spacious ambiance.

A description of the house’s design would be, part French stone house, part New York loft, and part Scandinavian design in the choice of colours.

The house has a large 130m2 living room and above here a 75m2 balcony, which permits many activities to occur simultaneously and independently. It is a huge room with 14 meters high ceiling, which inspires you to come together, paint or compose.

Additionally, the house has two bed rooms on the ground floor and two on the 1st floor, each of which are 18m2, all with individual bath and toilet. Furthermore, there is a laundry room and very rustic (original) table tennis/gym hall of about 60m2

Outside there is a large garden with shady palmtrees and a reflection pool located in the centre.

All in all it is a fantastic setting; with up til 16 beds which may house several couples sharing with children or a very large family of several generations.

Recommended minimum age is 5-6 years, due to considerable heights and staircases without railings.
